Hanoi’s Contemporary Culture Collection is on display at the Reflective Alleyways Installation, with inspiration drawn from Vietnamese Culture. Through a refreshed and inventive approach, the installation reimagines Hanoi’s distinctive cultural expressions in unexpected ways that provoke curiosity and spark the imagination.
The collection was developed by Creative Director Huỳnh Minh Thống, in collaboration with illustrators Duchcal and Trúc Nhi Hoàng, powered by Field Design Collective.
Paintings themed around culture, combined with the futuristic structure of the installation, create a space for dialogue between urban development and the enduring cultural values of the Capital. Here, visitors can perceive the reflection of urban growth on the exterior; yet upon entering, they encounter an inner space that preserves traditional cultural elements, set against an East Asian red backdrop.
This contrast evokes a reflection on the preservation of cultural heritage in an era of extreme urbanization.
